Among the arrivals by the Persia last week was Miss Charlotte Cushman, the tragedienne, and her friend, Miss Stebbins, the sculptor, sister of H.G. Stebbins, Esq., of New York. A fine bust of Miss Cushman, and two statuettes, ordered by Mr. Hecksher, of this city, executed at Rome last year by Miss Stebbins, will probably be exhibited here shortly; The former is said to be the finest likeness of Miss Cushman that has as yet been executed.
