[291] the thought of my darling possesses me. I can not lose her from my minds eye. I see her. as she stood at the railing at the station. with her dear tearful loving eyes. watching her own auntie who was not leaving her. save in the miserable flesh. Her soul her heart were fast by her darling & ever will be. never more shall I stand alone my darling never more will you be free from your auntis [sic] loving spirit at your side — I am ever fondly loving to your own
[291 reverse] just so for had I proceeded +++ the servant says. "I shall miss the boat +++" so I shall only say. I am well, my beloved. I love you. I am as busy as a bee. but I think of you with the fondest devotion I am all your own Ladie
