will you please send me the slip from the Transcript which was contained in Mr Duttons [sic] [publisher of the Boston Daily Evening Transcript] note. for Hattie who is in great trouble poor child. though a letter recd [received] Yesterday, dated three days later says the Dr is still alive. I have a letter from Kate Field who is so happy & contented. & who sends the
[page 2] largest quantity of love to you both. as does Miss Blagden. the letter of the latter I must read to you for it is too good to be lost. & too badly written for any but a friends [sic] eyes to make out. when shall we see you? we are doing some Errands this afternoon. to get some more rosain [sic]. Castellanis [sic] & after +++ +++. What do you say to looking in at
[page 3] the studio this morning & letting me know something about your movements of the next three days. you see we kind of consider you as belonging to us. It is possible that Hattie may leave for Boston on Sunday morning. if so I am afraid that Albano must be left for a day or two later.
