DEATH OF MISS ANNE H. BRESTWER.
News has been received from Rome of the death there of Miss Anne H. Brewster, a sister of the late Attorney-General Benjamin Harris Brewster. She was a woman of rare accomplishments. Thirty years ago she went to Rome and settled there, devoting her time to newspaper correspondence and other literary work. She enjoyed a fair competence and made her home a centre of artistic and literary reunions. Miss Brewster was in the seventy-fourth year of her age.
