Text

In reminiscences of Miss Charlotte Cushman, which have been sharply criticised, Celia Logan says Miss Cushman loved one Conrad Clark, who had a wife of his own, that Mrs. Clark reproved Miss Cushman, and was deserted by her husband. A correspondent of a morning paper asks Celia Logan if she can tell who the young lady was that stole Clark away from his wife? If any trouble comes of this conundrum the correspondent should be held responsible.
