"Brief Chronicler of the Times"

[...]

Miss Cushman, it is said, lies dangerously ill at Chester. On her passage from Belfast, a week or two since, her sufferings from sea-sickness injured her spine. The kind hospitality of Mrs. Muspratt, however, partially restored her to health, and she went to Chester to fulfil an engagement with Mr. Hammond, at the Theatre Royal there. Unfortunately she caught cold, and inflammation of a serious nature ensued.
