Text
Miss Cushman, a young debutante and native of Boston, has causes quite a sensation there in the opere of the Marriage of Figaro. It is a rare talent in this country, that has the boldness to attempt a prima donna part in opera. But the Boston Atlas informs us that she was eminently successful. Mrs. Wood had expressed herself before leaving America very favorably of this lady's powers.
