I here send you my letters, treating upon the books you were so kind as to send one. and one other which I thought might amuse you somewhat. you must tell me what Bolens says of my notice of him. if he says anything. - I can scarcely hope that it will give him much pleasures, so
[page 2] "+++ up" in praise and popularity as he is. so smothered with laurels. – I heard from Giles a short time since. and I hope he is now flourishing. How are you. and how is Whipple? I wrote you a mad lout [?] of a letter a while ago. do excuse it. - I was in a strange mood. Where is Elise Bilscacaente [?]? I would love to know, as I want to write to her. Please remember me most kindly to Mr.
