Greenwood trusts Fields to do what he thinks best about the volume until she reaches Boston by the end of June. Whittier agrees with Fields in regards to the name of the work. Greenwood has recently come off the sickbed after overexerting herself with housework.

I think it is hardly best for you to forward those works now. But when you see me, I will promise to receive [?] them with unmitigated gratitude.

[page 3] I can only write a line and that horribly, as I am in much haste just now, and am but just off a sickbed to which I was brought by overexertion in the house. cleaning line. Isn't that shocking, my poet friend?
