Greenwood trusts Fields to do what he thinks best about the volume until she reaches Boston by the end of June. Whittier agrees with Fields in regards to the name of the work. Greenwood has recently come off the sickbed after overexerting herself with housework.

[page 1] Dear Mr. Fields. I received yours of April 21st and the Osgood poem in good time, and should have sooner replied and acknowledged only. your own excuse incessant occupation. Do as you think best about the vol [volume]. I know I can trust you entirely. We +++will settle everything when I reach

[page 2] Boston, which I hope may be by the last of June. Whittier writes me that he agrees with you in regard to the titles +++ of the work and likes the name very well. I think it is hardly best for you to forward those works now. But when you see me, I will promise to receive [?] them with unmitigated gratitude.

[page 3] I can only write a line and that horribly, as I am in much haste just now, and am but just off a sickbed to which I was brought by overexertion in the house. cleaning line. Isn't that shocking, my poet friend?
