I wish you would drop down to Lynn, soon. I have two additional "imitations" one on Holmes. which I wish to show you. I'll not send them up.- I hope there will be room. indeed there must be. Ah, why could you not have been here Thursday afternoon with Whittier! My +++ regards to Whipple and +++-eyed Mr. Ticknor. No more at present.

[page 2] P.S.. Perhaps after all it were best to have the copyright article placed before the letters, so as to be certain to have them in the volume. what do you think? But I must see you. A literary friend writes me advising me not to sell my copyright, but to receive [?] so much or a copy. as much as you will give me. In many accounts I think I had rather do so. Pardon this little touch of business. a mysterious +++ something I hate as I do the
